For those that went to the 2019 World League Poker Championships, what was your favorite part of the 5-day event? Online Poker Reviews. In addition to providing you with a comprehensive and well reasoned overview of the legal poker landscape as it applies to playing poker in the area or country in which you reside, we also make recommendations as to which poker rooms you should be considering trying out from among those available in your area, if any. So you want to know first of all whether you can play.

So you want to know first of all whether you can play online poker, and what the law says, and what the practical implications of playing are, and then once you know that you want to know where the best poker rooms to play at are from the selection of what’s available.

So we’ve gone to the trouble to select these for you based upon our vast experience of evaluating and recommending poker rooms which goes all the way back to when online poker first started. This includes the kind of ongoing analysis that really is limited to professionals working within the industry, which we are.

What we are after here in particular is looking for poker sites that meet a certain threshold of acceptability, and while a lot of poker sites do, some do not.

This is why you don’t see ratings and such in our reviews, and while we will compare certain sites when appropriate, it really always boils down to whether or not it is worth your while to try out a certain site and reap the bonus money offered, not whether one site is better than another.

It’s also beneficial to have accounts at several poker sites if that’s an option where you live, meaning there ends up being more than one that you like, longer term, after you’ve tried out the potential candidates and you have collected all the bonus money you seek to collect.

So this is why we hesitate to just tell people, this is where you need to play, and the best we can do here is just point you in the right directions, but that’s something we are happy to do for you on this site.

So while there are links to our approved rooms on the pages discussing the laws of each area we cover, since you are here now, we’ll recap the sites and the reviews that we have here for you so you can get a taste of what’s out there in your area.

Regulated Online Poker Rooms in the United States

There are two forms of poker that is offered to U.S. residents, regulated poker rooms and non regulated ones. We’ll deal with the regulated ones first.

In New Jersey, there are three regulated and state sanctioned poker networks that offer play to state residents.

PartyPoker New Jersey is a partnership between the Borgata and Party Poker and each has their own site with their own unique offers, although both run on the same network and the games and tables are therefore identical.

Party Borgata is the top dog as far as traffic and popularity goes in New Jersey, and while it would be easy to just say well this is where you should be playing, traffic isn’t the only consideration of course and in our reviews we present you with everything you need to know as far as deciding whether you want to at least try out this poker network or any poker room for that matter. You can read our review of this network here.

In second place, traffic wise anyway, is WSOP New Jersey. While we feel that everyone in New Jersey should try out Party Borgata, this site is worth a look as well. It’s not even which one you decide is better, it may also be a matter of wanting or needing an account at both sites, or perhaps even at all three. Read our review of WSOP New Jersey here.

You may also want to check out the third place poker room in the state, at 888 Poker New Jersey(<< review). At the very least you can collect some extra bonus money from trying out this poker site as well, and we know that our readers like collecting bonus money, or at least they should.

Delaware also has regulated poker, but we have not bothered with a review for their poker room because we feel that the traffic isn’t anywhere near where it needs to be in order to make this poker room worth considering for anyone. This could change though once they get the interstate deal with Nevada going.

North

Speaking of Nevada, the state is now down to a single poker room worth bothering about, which is WSOP Nevada. There had been a second poker room to choose from up until recently, but they ended up folding due to not making enough money from the deal and now we’re down to one poker room left standing.

It’s a good one indeed though and players shouldn’t be troubled at all that they don’t have any choice here anymore. You can check out our review of WSOP Nevada here.

[Offshore] U.S. Friendly Poker Sites

Poker

There are several offshore poker rooms offering play to Americans living in select states.

Players from the regulated states have to stick to the regulated rooms, and some states don’t have any poker rooms that offer play to residents of their states, and there are some others where we haven’t been able to come up with a choice we are comfortable with so we haven’t recommended any for you, but we do have recommendations for just about every state nonetheless.

Once again, you have to visit the page for your state covering the poker laws there to ensure that one of our recommendations are indeed available to you, but the two that we like are BetOnline (<< review) and America’s Cardroom(<< review).

Both are very good poker sites and there are plenty out there which we do not feel to be up to par but these two are not among them. Both offer generous bonuses to try them out and if you are in a state where both poker rooms are available to you we encourage you to try out both if you wish.
